The National Lottery`s Big Night of Musicals: VIP Tickets + Hospitality Packages - AO Arena, Manchester
The National Lottery’s Big Night Of Musicals will bring together, for the first time, the biggest shows from the world of musical theatre for one night only at the AO Arena Manchester at on Monday 24th January 2022 at 7.30pm. The event, hosted by actor and comedian Jason Manford, will see spectacular performances from West End and touring musicals including FROZEN the Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, Disney’s The Lion King, Back to the Future, The Drifters Girl, Beauty and the Beast, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock, Bat Out Of Hell, Dreamgirls and The Wiz with more to be announced.
Tickets are on general release and all of them are free for National Lottery players as a `thank you` for funding over 2,000 theatres through the Covid crisis thanks to the £30m they raise every week for Good Causes. Theatre enthusiasts can reserve up to four free tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. A £2 booking fee applies per person upon booking and proof of purchase of a National Lottery product is required on the day of the event by the ticket booker.
In addition thousands of tickets have been made available to representatives from hundreds of National Lottery-funded community and grassroots arts organisations from across the North West to celebrate and acknowledge their amazing work throughout the pandemic.
Jason Manford, who has appeared in multiple West End musicals, including Sweeney Todd and Curtains, said: “After a very difficult 20 months for the theatre industry, I am proud and honoured to be hosting this National Lottery musical spectacular. The event promises to be a brilliant show full of celebration, featuring some of the best musicals on right now. I can`t wait for 24 January next year!”
To ensure a safe and successful evening, The AO Arena, will be putting a number of important measures in place to reassure and protect everyone at the venue. To access AO Arena on the day, audience members will need to show a NHS COVID Pass as proof of vaccination, or a negative lateral flow or PCR test and masks will be mandatory for those 11 and over. These measures are implemented in accordance with the current advice and guidance from the UK and Local Government and will be continually reviewed.
Doors open at 5.45pm. Please allow sufficient time to go through the Covid check & venue security. You will need to be seated by 7.15pm. Latecomers may not be admitted or may be reseated. The show takes place between 7.30pm and 9.00 pm with no interval and no re-entry, so it may not be suitable for very young children.
