Savannah Marshall vs Claressa Shields are set to enter the professional boxing ring on the 10th September 2022.

This is one of the biggest women`s fights to ever take place in the middleweight division and to be the first televised card to exclusively feature female fighters. Back in 2012 the pair fought as amateurs, with Marshall inflicting the only defeat of Shields career to date. 

Shields of Michigan USA, is one of the best fighters in the women`s sport today. On 13th April 2019, Shields became the undisputed women`s middleweight world champion. Unifying the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO middleweight titles, the American is also a two-time Olympic champion having won gold medals at London 2012 and Rio 2016.

Marshall of Hartlepool UK, has amassed 12 wins and remains undefeated and has stopped 10 of the 12 oppositions inside the distance. Peter Fury, Tyson Fury`s uncle and former trainer, teaches languid and powerful boxing styles to suit Marshall`s tall build. Marshall has stated "I don`t hate nobody ... but I really do have a huge dislike for her."
