- From 1972 to 1973, Bruce Springsteen formed his new band, The E Street Band. Formed for the recording of his debut album – Greetings from Astbury Park, N.J – this band went on to be Springsteen’s backing band.
- In August 1975, Born To Run was released, becoming Springsteen’s breakthrough album and leading him to worldwide fame and sold-out concerts. To this day, the album’s title track ‘Born To Run’ has remained one of Springsteen’s biggest hits.
- In 1984. Bruce Springsteen released his most famous album, Born in the USA. Selling over 30 million copies throughout the world, Born in the USA became one of the best-selling albums of all time.
- In 1999, Bruce Springsteen was incorporated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with other famous artists including Dusty Springfield, Curtis Mayfield, Billy Joel and Paul McCartney.
- In 2002, Springsteen and The E Street Band released their first studio album in 18 years – The Rising. Playing across huge arenas throughout Europe and the USA, this album won the GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Album. It’s title track won the GRAMMY for Best Rock Song, as well as Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.
