5SOS formed in 2011 when Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood began posting cover videos on YouTube. Ashton Irwin later joined as the drummer, to complete the lineup. Their covers quickly gained the attention of many, including Louis Tomlinson of One Direction, who helped to boost their profile and grow their fanbase worldwide.

The band rose to fame after being invited to join One Direction on their ‘Take Me Home’ and ‘Where We Are’ world tours. This exposure, combined with their hit debut single ‘She Looks So Perfect,’ launched them into international success

Some of their most popular songs include ‘She Looks So Perfect,’ ‘Youngblood,’ and ‘Amnesia.’ ‘Youngblood’ is one of their biggest hits, topping charts worldwide and becoming a fan favourite.
