If you’re planning to see Charli XCX in Manchester, this guide covers everything you need to know about her Co-op Live concert, from what to expect on the night to how you can experience the show in style with premium tickets.
Who Is Charli XCX?
Charli XCX is an influential British singer, songwriter and pop innovator known for blending experimental electronic sounds with mainstream pop. She rose to prominence co-writing and featuring on massive hits like Icona Pop’s ‘I Love It’ and Iggy Azalea’s ‘Fancy’ in the early 2010s.
Charli XCX evolved from mainstream pop with experimental mixtapes and albums like Vroom Vroom, Pop 2 and brat. She achieved global cultural dominance with her 2024 album brat, which sparked worldwide internet culture phenomena and earned her three Grammy Awards.
While brat brought Charli XCX to an even wider global audience, it was the result of years of experimentation and reinvention. From her early work to projects such as Charli and how i’m feeling now, she has consistently challenged traditional ideas of what pop music can sound like.
Known for her bold visuals and energetic performances, Charli XCX has become one of the most distinctive figures in modern pop. Her influence extends beyond her own music, having written songs for and collaborated with some of the biggest names in pop.
With her Music, Fashion, Film tour coming to Manchester in 2027, fans will have the opportunity to experience Charli XCX’s distinctive pop sound live at Co-op Live yet again.

Music, Fashion, Film: Charli XCX’s Latest Album
Charli XCX’s latest era began with the release of the single ‘Rock Music‘, before the entire album Music, Fashion, Film was released on 24 July 2026.
This album is the deliberate, introspective follow-up to her cultural phenomenon 2024 album brat. Instead of creating a direct copy of brat, Charli pivoted to a minimalist, guitar-led and alternative pop sound, with production contributions from A.G. Cook and Finn Keane.
The black-and-white cover art features portraits honouring cultural icons, John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese, each representing different elements of the album.

I recently booked VIP tickets through Sport and Music Club to see Simply Red as a Christmas present for my mum, and the whole experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived at the VIP entrance, the staff were professional, friendly, and extremely attentive. We were guided straight to the Adidas Lounge, which was stunning – beautifully set out with a lovely ambience, stylish seating, and a relaxed but luxurious feel. The service inside was faultless, with staff making sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt well looked after at all times. Our seats were incredible, positioned right next to the stage with a perfect view. It made the concert even more special and unforgettable. A special thank you to Simon Thompson, who I dealt with to arrange the tickets – he was fantastic and made the whole booking process simple, professional, and reassuring. This was a truly memorable VIP experience, and I cannot recommend Sport and Music Club highly enough. Five stars well deserved!
